Zenas Macomber, NSDAR Patriot Number A072978, was one of General George Washington’s Life Guards during the American Revolution. His two daughters, Nancy and Hannah, were Real Daughters of the Harrisburg Chapter, NSDAR. Zenas and his daughter Nancy are buried in Slate Ridge Cemetery, York County, PA. Hannah is buried in Harrisburg Cemetery, Dauphin County, PA.
